About Us
Zen Pet Care is a specialized pet and home care service offering a full
range of options for all of your home and pet care needs. ZPC was founded by Vicky Kovacs and Miklos Solyom in May 2009.
We are thirtysomething college graduates and artists - Vicky is a fashion designer and Miklos is a photographer. We are both involved in spiritual meditation and yoga.
We have lived and worked in New York since the late 90s. Before we started our pet sitting business, we would always take care of many of our friend's, relative's, and even neighbor's pets when they would go away for either a long vacation or a short weekend get-away. We had numerous years of experience caring for all types of pets.
In 2008, a friend of ours suggested that we start a pet sitting business. After thinking of the possibilities and doing some research about pet sitting, we decided to go for it. We saw a great need for an alternative, spiritual way to care for pets in their own homes.
We strive to care for our customer's pets as if they were our own. Customer satisfaction and loving, "zen-like" pet care are extremely important to us. ZPC also has references that you are welcomed to contact regarding our services.
